FA Brand - Final Approach

Mike has been an avid waterfowler since he shot his first goose at age 10. For over 20 years he has been guiding waterfowlers and has owned and operated Sandhills Guide Service for the last 12 years. Mike lives and guides in Central Kansas where there is a mecca of wildlife to hunt including: Waterfowl (specks, snows, big and small Canada geese, cranes, and a multitude of different ducks), Upland birds (pheasant, quail and prairie chicken), Whitetail deer and turkeys.

Mike has been using FA Blinds since 1998 and still has some of the original blinds in one of the rigs. He enjoys putting on calling contests, and was the first to have a two-man goose calling contest where the callers had to call from the FA blinds (which the winners took home as prizes).

Mike has been married for over 18 years and has two sons, Matthew (age 16) who is now guiding for Sandhills Guide Service, and Ryan (age 8) who is starting to get good on a call. Mike also has three horses and six dogs (four labs and two Springers).
