Raised and residing in Northwest Indiana, Matt is 33 years old and has been hunting for over 23 years. He comes from a family where the outdoors played a very big part in his upbringing. He is very thankful to have a father who introduced him to waterfowling at a very young age and took him fishing/hunting as often as possible. Living in such close proximity to both Wisconsin and Illinois, Matt's extended area has some of the best field and water hunting that the Mississippi flyway has to offer. While he enjoys turkey hunting in the spring, he devotes his time in the fall to guiding and hunting nothing but waterfowl. He's also very involved with various conservation organizations, and is a big supporter of youth and fundraising events for the outdoors. His passion for waterfowl hunting and woodworking also led to the creation of his own duck and goose calls as well. He's very proud to be a part of the Final Approach Team for the past 5 years, and considers FA to be the original innovator in the layout blind industry and the leader in products for the hardcore waterfowler.
