Mark grew up in South Eastern Wisconsin along the shore of Lake Michigan. Hunting Lake Michigan is an awesome experience because you never know what you are going to end up with in your bag. It is not uncommon to end the day with puddle ducks, divers, and sea ducks making up your limit. Aside from hunting on Lake Michigan, Mark spends much of his time hunting and guiding in and around the "World Famous" Horicon Marsh where over ¾ of the MVP (Mississippi Goose Population) visits every year. One of the greatest experiences for Mark was having the opportunity to compete in the World Duck Calling Championship in 1997. The sport of Waterfowl hunting has given Mark the pleasure of making some life long friendships as well as allowing Mark to participate at a level that others can only dream of. Mark is Secretary of the Wisconsin Waterfowl Association spending much of his time focusing on hunter recruitment. Mark works very closely with both adults and youth to introduce new people to the world of Waterfowl hunting.
