Years of living in the heart of the prairie pothole region and having the opportunity to learn the sport of hunting first-hand from my dad and grandfather has blessed me with a wealth of hunting knowledge. Living and farming in North Dakota my entire life has allowed me opportunities that most in the hunting world would love to have had. 25 plus years of hunting and guiding has been a wonderful experience for myself and with the support of Final Approach only has made it easier. First and foremost, I cherish the opportunity that nature has given me as a hunter and completely respect every day I am allowed to enjoy it! Working in the medical profession (as primary employment) I see on a daily basis how short life can be and realize nothing can be taken for granted.

Most fall days I find myself in the heart of the migration working hard to "beat" the mind of the birds. Quality health, equipment, land, and partners have made every experience a true joy. Understanding what works and what does not work is likely my strongest asset to my abilities to do what I do each day in the field and as a Final Approach staffer.
