Tim started hunting waterfowl in 1983 at the young age of eight on the Chesapeake Bay and many of its tributaries. This pursuit has carried him throughout the United States and Canada chasing the limits of all types of game, especially waterfowl. From Rails on the Eastern Shore of Virginia to fooling dark geese in late season hunkered in a FA layout blind on many farms in the Historic Atlantic Flyway.

Tim started guiding waterfowl hunts in 1991 and continues to do so every season for services in the Virginia area. Waterfowl hunting has been a passion of his along with fresh and saltwater fishing; deer, turkey, and small game hunting; coaching high school football, lacrosse, and hockey; spending time with his family watching his sons grow into great sportsmen; and training his trusty labs.

Tim found himself trying to extend his waterfowl season and picked up on contest calling. Tim, along with a trusty group of callers from the area, brought the Virginia State (sanctioned) contest back from its 19-year hiatus. He runs this contest in conjunction with numerous other opens, youth, and team events. Tim is honored to have been asked to hunt on film for several video and DVD productions. He also spends time devoted to outdoor writing for several publications, Board member of the local DU chapter, and a volunteer for Hanover Youth Ministries to take youth on deer, turkey, and waterfowl hunts,

Tim also volunteers for the USFWS along with the Virginia State Forestry Dept. He pro-staffs for several companies and has been on the Final Approach Pro-Staff for numerous years. He brings a wealth of knowledge of all the FA Brand products and exactly when to use each and every one. He uses the FA line not because he has to, but because the demands on his gear, hunting day in and day out, makes him use a line that will hold up.
